◊ A Chronicle of Current Events

First issue appeared in the summer of 1968. The last issue did not appear until August 1983, although the information it contained only went up to and included June 1982.
A great many contributors and editors took part in its compilation: among them were Natalya Gorbanevskaya, Alexander Lavut, Sergei Kovalyov and Tatyana Velikanova.
◊ USSR News Brief
◊ (Munich, 1978-1992)
A fortnightly bulletin focusing on events in the USSR and on particular groups and individuals at risk there. It began circulation in November 1978 and the last issue appeared in December 1992. (This link is to the original Russian edition; it was also translated into English.)
The bulletin was the brainchild of its founder and chief editor, the astrophysicist and human rights activist, Kronid Lyubarsky.
Reports from both periodicals appear occasionally on the “Rights in Russia” website, especially when contemporary events or the actions of particular individuals evoke parallels with the past.
